What's better? The nostalgia that something evokes later on, or the initial experience that is recollected? Personally I'm not sure there needs to be a specific answer. So many things are the way they are, just because of that. They just are. Whether it's experiencing a new adventurous world as a child, or remembering, analyzing, and appreciating the music that was able to take you there so effortlessly earlier on in your life, perhaps it's just living that makes this experience so whole and complete. I dunno.
