The LEDs on the leggings light up from bottom to top based on the volume of sound entering the speaker.

The LEDs were covered in a moldable plastic such as insta-morph, bringing out a nice diffuse as opposed to the normal harsh light one receives from a standard LED.

The second half of the costume includes Simon the Synthesizer and his light up guitar strap. The EL Wire strap is a simple construction involving:
- EL Wire
- Fishing line (to tie the wire to the strap)
- Guitar Strap
- Battery Pack
- Sound Inverter for EL Wire
A Sample of what Simon Sounds like:
Simon is a digital-analog synthesizer created using the GinSing Arduino shield.
